Everyone is asking what are the business model for google android? Here are some of the possibility that i could think of. (This is only my opinion)

1) Multimedia - if you will create a media software for the android then a possible business model is an affiliate program, for example selling mp3 or video and having a percent revenue on every sell. But you may ask, the user already have the media/file how can i use this affiliate program? Simple solution is sell related product or related song/artist. And from this you can setup a store selling the artists tshirt or any stuff related to the artists by google checkout or ebay’s paypal.

2) Games - Remember Adscape? Its a gaming company that had been brought by google back in February. How does this relate to the business model of the gaming? Imagine everytime you finish a game or pause a game, an advertisement will show up. But how will google find out the total view count or click count? Its simple, games will require user to actually have an internet connection while giving away their games for free and in return ads will be shown and if user dont have an internet connection then limited or demo version will be shown. In short adsware program will be back. lol

3) Client-server - This is where adsense will play along, currently google doesnt have an adsense plugin or extension builded into the android nor i think they will never build in by default because of anti competitiveness issue but sooner or later an adsense for android will appear. So how can i build a better model on this? Instead of just having a status of loading data from the server, you can show ads to your client while they wait for the data to come.

For other kind of software:
Another good model for this is a point system ofcouse with adsense or other online ads provider, what is a point system? For example a user want a background in order for them to have that background for free they need to earn points, and you can earn points by doing things you can on a social network, things like forum,blog,comments,pictures, etc. This way your site will not only have an computer present but also an android present. But how can this be done? Google Code will be there to help us. Currently there is no api that can easily integrate your site to google android but again sooner or later there will be.

To summarize it, there are a lot of business model for the android because google or any company will not build something like this if they will not get something and remember google is an advertising company so they will someday they will integrate adsense, and with the adsense concept in mind, the you win, i win, everybody happy, where google gets paid, the advertiser gets customer and you the creator of android software gets a revenue from the advertiser, seeing all of this, why would google not integrate adsense on the android. We are not seeing adsense on android yet because its way too early to do so and it will create a negative impact if they do appear on an early stage.
